Fascia and Trauma Release Workshops
In this workshop, therapists of all backgrounds and laypeople learn a comprehensive fascia-release massage technique, which includes activating neurogenic tremoring and muscle activation. This fosters a deeper understanding for bodyworkers when a client experiences the phenomenon and offers ways to integrate these learnings into their treatment practice and daily lives. Explanations on how chronic pain and trauma are linked and how the body perceives and stores these in the fascia further enhance understanding.
In this workshop, we will also explore the deep fascia of the pelvis and the releases we can implement to relieve very painful and stuck conditions. The latest research from fascia scientists regarding pelvic fasciae like Carla Stecco, Tom Findley, Vleeming and Robert Schleip – to mention but a few – are consolidated in a simple yet powerful tool.
Module 1
Focuses on Fascial Activation techniques, Trauma Release Exercises and very gentle fascia-release massage techniques, where the patient falls into absolute relaxation. All techniques focus on creating safety in the brain and not causing the client pain.
Module 2
Offers an additional level of work, where osteopathic principals are explored – especially craniosacral and meningeal work – which are then combined into the fascia-release techniques. Further information on the neurological system, the organs and the brain explains why we cannot see or treat the fascial system as belonging only to the musculoskeletal body. The students also learn how to scan the energetic body with easy techniques and learn to work with the more subtle electromagnetic fields around us. We also delve into the power of the heart and research from the Heart Math Institute. Both workshops aim to combat chronic illness, pain and compensation safely and holistically.
