EFTR MODULE 1
Day 1: start at 9.00
1. Introduction to Equine Trauma and Fascia
– Theory lecture
– What is fascia?
– How is it linked to trauma?
– Why do we work with it?
– How do we work with it?
– Understanding chronic pain and neurology
– Trauma Release Exercises theory
– How can we unlock both physical and emotional trauma in our horses?
Understanding the fascial sheaths advances traditional treatment practices, extending a novel and complementary dimension to all existing forms of training and manual therapy.
Horse and rider are uniquely connected – when there is a blockage in one, it manifests in the other. Because of this, one must often look at the riders first and give them the tools to correct their own compensation patterns before their horse can be successfully treated.
2. Key Rider Muscle Activation – Demonstration
– Practical application for participants
3. Introduction to Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) facilitated in 20-minute sessions
Lunch Break 13.00
4. Introduction to fascia release in the horse
End of day at 17.00

Day 2: start at 9.00
1. Check-in session
– An opportunity for participants to discuss and share experiences from Day 1
2. Continuation of theory
3. Introduction to scar release in theory and practical.
Lunch Break
4. Practical application on horses
5. Trauma Release Exercises
End of day at 17.00
